Enriched by the simple act of observance, I am visually drawn to the simple and poignant...the essence of the person, the honesty of an animal, the play of light on any given object and the beauty of nature. In my photography I attempt to capture images that evoke compassion and humor and the human-ness of us all. I work strictly in black and white and hand-color many of the images as well.
